Private Lessons
Private lessons are our most popular format. Our trainer will come to your home and work with you and your dog(s) on the skills discussed during your free consultation. Lessons are typically an hour long. By the end of each lesson you will have a list of things to practice with your dog before your next lesson.
There are many benefits to the private lesson format:
1) Your engagement throughout the training process encourages a better bond between you and your dog and typically produces longer lasting results due to your increased personal time commitment.
2) It’s convenient!
3) Training in your own home allows your dog to work where he/she is most comfortable and able to learn best.
4) Your dog spends most of his/her time at home, so training where you will be primarily using the skills makes sense.
5) If working outside your home is important to you, your trainer will meet you at a variety of other dog-friendly public locations to practice your skills.
Board and Train
Loyal K9 offers various lengths of board and train programs to meet your dog’s specific needs and your training goals. While living in our trainer’s home, your dog will learn a list of agreed upon skills while having the opportunity to socialize with other well trained dogs.
Board and train is a great way to reach your training goals quickly and with minimal effort on your part. However, once we return your dog to you, you MUST follow through with maintenance training or your dog will revert back to its old habits. Loyal K9 provides a thorough “go-home” lesson where our trainer works with you to ensure you understand the extent of your dog’s new skills and that you feel empowered to use these new skills to their full benefit.
